There is magic when people gather with the shared intention of healing. There is power in the act of appreciating and connecting with the natural world. There is love in the earth. There is wellness is the water and peace in the air. When we create space for our own self care, we create space to offer care to others. When we heal ourselves, we heal the world.

Take some time for deep relaxation and healing with the support of Crystals. We will share space together for release and and renewal of our inner resources. Breathe deep and allow yourself to be supported. Crystals are our high vibration allies and each stone carries its own particular energy of healing, activating those same qualities within us. We will practice long held, gentle poses combined with guided crystal meditations for healing. Restorative Yoga is accessible for anyone, and enjoyable for all. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Bring a yoga mat and cozy blankets if you have them. If not, we will provide.

GST is for all body types, ages and levels of expertise and anyone who wants to add another dimension to their healthy lifestyle.

Lisa studied Pilates for 12 years and is a long-time practitioner of Yoga. She discovered GST five years ago in Los Angeles, and trained under the tutelage of Anna Rahe, the founder and creator of GST. Yoga Nidra: Sleep Yoga

Yoga Nidra - Sleep Yoga

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation into a state of deep yogic sleep where you float with consciousness. Between sleeping and waking states of being. In this practice, your body will be completely relaxed, either laying on the back or in a supported position with props as you may desire. As we move through the practice I will guide you through 5 layers of being, the physical body, the mental body, the breath body, the witness body and bliss body. For those who will be practicing sleep yoga for the first time, think of the practice as a relaxing body scan you might do in a traditional yoga class during savasana and then apply that not only to the physical body but to the other four bodies, scanning the mind and breath, finding awareness and witnessing the interplay between the mind body and breath, and finally reminding ourselves of light, love and bliss to help heal and dissolve held tension in our being.

It is a Raj Yoga, encompassing the eight limbs of yoga into a singular practice of excellence and ecstasy. About Jess and Joseph 

Joseph Gray has travelled across the country in pursuit of continued education in the refined arts of strength, balance, partnership, and trust.  In his (infrequent) free time he enjoys playing piano, climbing, and standing on his hands. He currently teaches acrobatics in St. Petersburg Florida at The Movement Sanctuary. 

Jess Taing has been teaching yoga since 2016, infusing her vinyasa yoga teaching with philosophy, mantra, and sound healing. She’s a Bhakti Yogi perpetually inspired by mantra, philosophy, and Kirtan. She initially found yoga through her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practice in 2016. She is deeply fascinated by the practice of Kirtan and holds weekly chants with her students in St. Petersburg, FL. Kirtan opens the doors of our hearts and leads us to a greater appreciation of our internal Selves. It is the path of the heart, guiding its devotee gently home to themselves.

Yoga Nidra: Sleep Yoga

Yoga Nidra - Sleep Yoga

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation into a state of deep yogic sleep where you float with consciousness. Between sleeping and waking states of being. In this practice, your body will be completely relaxed, either laying on the back or in a supported position with props as you may desire. As we move through the practice I will guide you through 5 layers of being, the physical body, the mental body, the breath body, the witness body and bliss body. For those who will be practicing sleep yoga for the first time, think of the practice as a relaxing body scan you might do in a traditional yoga class during savasana and then apply that not only to the physical body but to the other four bodies, scanning the mind and breath, finding awareness and witnessing the interplay between the mind body and breath, and finally reminding ourselves of light, love and bliss to help heal and dissolve held tension in our being.

Studies have shown that yoga nidra helps to balance the autonomic nervous system which can help with regulation and reaction to stress. Through traction, floor sequences and flow, GST or Graceful Somatic Technique focuses on the integration of the whole body using somatic self-manipulation of fascia to create a strong resilient and dynamic body. GST challenges students to work beyond their perceived limits and discover their own internal physicality. Injury prevention and rehabilitation are embedded into the fabric of the technique. GST is for all body types, ages and levels of expertise and anyone who wants to add another dimension to their healthy lifestyle.

Lisa studied Pilates for 12 years and is a long-time practitioner of Yoga. She discovered GST five years ago in Los Angeles, and trained under the tutelage of Anna Rahe, the founder and creator of GST.
